{ Newest Obsession: Fringe }

This year I had to miss NYFW because I was on a design project in Nashville. While I was at work with visual branding during the day I made sure to follow up on the NY shows every night online when I had a moment. The one thing I've been wild over lately is fringe. Thin, shiny, silky fringe in rich colors. So when I was pursuing Adam Lippes' collection I stopped scrolling right at the sight of this Floral Printed Silk One Shoulder Dress with Scarf Detail -- it's layered skirt trimmed in gold fringe.

I was looking for something to wear to an event I was attending with Verizon & Philadelphia Style Magazine in Phila and this was 100% it. Something I could dress up with black heels and a sleek, middle-part bun or casual-up with booties and loose curls.

It fit like a glove - has an inner zipped corset, then a side zip. Best of all the skirt wraps and buttons on side to leave you with super unique layers, only further accented by the gold. Normally a dress like this would scream Grecian,  but the dark prairie-like print makes it feel more modern and the unexpected mix of the bold fringe is just additional perfection.

I wore it with loose curls, and those just-above-the-ankle sock booties I'm into right now and hit the town ready to meet the Verizon & Philly Style Mag team.

If you are looking for a dress that you can dress up, down, or even wear over a tee- this is your winner.

Now... off to get my pencils ..
