{ The absolute perfection of pillows—Cisco Brothers’ Donato sofa }

Couches are harrrrd. Finding seating that is not too masculine or feminine is a difficult task. When shopping for my new space I found that the tufted velvet beauties I usually gravitate to just felt too proper for the lived-in, homey feeling that I wanted to achieve here, while the hard masculine lines of traditional seats and sectionals felt too contemporary for me. When I saw the large flat-ish pillows that folded over the side arms of the Donato Sofa by Cisco Brothers, I knew I had found just the right mix.

I had a hard time deciding between gray and seafoam, and ended up going with a seafoam to start this room off feeling light—plus it picks up the silver in the rug just enough.
